Nancy Joëlle Meier wurde 1994 in Schaffhausen geboren. Sie besuchte das Konservatorium in Winterthur und schloss später ihr Masterstudium an der Hochschule der Künste Bern in Jazz and Contemporary Music als eine der wenigen Jazzflötist*innen in der Schweiz ab. Nancy arbeitet als
Komponistin für verschiedene kammermusikalische Projekte und unterrichtet Querflöte an einer
Musikschule sowie privat. NANCELOT ist Nancys ganzes Herzblut und Kreativität. Sie ist ausserdem Teil des Oktetts «Blau Salvatge» und spielt in ihrem eigenen Trio «mathilda!» sowie in mehreren Grossformationen wie das JD Large Ensemble oder «Constelar». Nancy lebt und arbeitet in berlin.
